Along with providing financial support for the Youth LEAD Georgia program, the generous $1.5 million pledge from Chick-fil-A will support an annual youth leadership summit on the University of Georgia campus.
The inaugural summit is scheduled to take place in July 2024.
Along with inviting Youth LEAD Georgia participants to attend, the summit will include high school students representing all 159 counties across Georgia.
More information on the nomination and selection process for the summit will be announced in early 2024.
